FUN.damental Literacy provides personalised literacy tuition for Kindergarten - Year 6 students & School Readiness program for Pre-schoolers.   

Founder and qualified primary school teacher, Natalie, has over 20 years experience in the classroom as well as specialising in small group and 1:1 intervention of students with learning differences. 

Our mission at FUN.damental Literacy is to support children in building their confidence and literacy skills in a relaxed and FUN environment.

I'm Natalie

I am a qualified and dedicated teacher with 20 years experience.  I am the wife of an awesome husband and a mother of two teenagers, one of whom is dyslexic.

My passion has always been in teaching literacy and teaching it well.  

​

While working as a Literacy Interventionist, I was continually frustrated with the gaps in children's learning due to traditional approaches in classrooms.  I was determined to find a way to support all students in literacy.

​

I have since undergone training in programs that support the explicit and systematic teaching of reading, writing and spelling.

​

I am a trained Sound~Write Practitioner and incorporate a MSL approach into all programs.
