Clever Bee School Readiness is a specifically designed program to develop your child's confidence, independence and necessary skills for a successful and smooth transition to Kindergarten.

Our program helps prepare children for ‘big school’ by teaching the basic foundational early learning concepts of literacy and numeracy in a fun and nurturing environment.
​
Your child will start school with the confidence and ability to learn in a classroom environment.
​
Currently, our program is available to children the year prior to starting school.

Literacy Skills
Phonemic awareness, sound recognition, blending, segmenting and more.
Early Numeracy Skills
Counting, number recognition, number value, subitizing, patterns, shapes, addition, subtraction and more
Fine Motor Skills
Pencil grip, pencil control, letter formation, cutting with scissors, writing, threading etc

In our first session, a quick informal assessment will be conducted to ensure the program is reflective of their development.
​
One completion of the program a detailed report will be completed to demonstrate your child's growth and development.

Social Skills
Social Skills are a very important component of starting school.
​
At Clever Bee your child will learn how to communicate with others, follow instructions, ask for help, take turns and consider others.
We also focus on independence and self help skills as well as emotional skills such as self regulation.
